This 5-K Run and 1-mile Walk is a community-based event on a memorable course
around FedEx Field,
home on the Washington Redskins, followed by post race festivities and awards,
with fun and food for all
to enjoy.
The race benefits the Crime Victims' Fund of Prince George's County,
Maryland.
The cause: to maintain an emergency funding source for crime victims who have no
other means to replace the cost of victimization and aides the State's Attorney
Offices'victim support groups.

EVENT: This 5-K run and 1-mile walk, a
community-based event, starts on Sheriff Road
in front of Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex,
dips downhill to take one loop around FedEx Field, home of the Washington
Redskins,
then climbs Sheriff and Harvey Roads to finish on the Sportsplex track.
After the race, please join us for our
post-race festivities and awards ceremony, with fun and food for all to
enjoy.
HONOREES: Survivors of homicide victims may run or
walk in memory of their loved ones. "In memory of" bibs are
available at check-in.
Domestic Violence: Victims will be offered the opportunity to wear a bib for
themselves or someone else. "Stop the Silence, Stop the Violence"
